Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 5 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by F. T. Wright & Son, Taunton, Mass. 
 
This is the mark of the Franklin T. Wright and his son who ran their pottery from 1866 to the 1870's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 50). 
 
This beauty features a Large Size, the Pottery Stamp, and a Fantastic Recumbant Tiger Looking Through a Portal in his Circus Enclosure.  The stencil is very finely cut with lots of fine details.  And the stencil is crisp and complete too.  Stands 17 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Two small chips at the base (1/4", 1/2").  That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
