Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1 2" Stoneware Ovoid Jar from Baltimore, Maryland.
Circa 1825, I am tentatively attributing this beauty to the Parr Family of Potters.
This jar features an Early Ovoid Shape with Tall Tooled Rim, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accents at the Terminals and a Garland of Upward Sweeping Vining with Dangling Tulips on Each Side. Stands 10 3/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. Two 3/8" flakes on the rim and one on the base. That's it! No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
