Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by "F. J. Caire, Huntington, L.I."
 
This is the work of Frederick J. Caire who ran the pottery in Huntington from 1854-1863 (William J. Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 64).
 
This beauty features a Larger Size, Beehive Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash on the Shoulder, and Two Large Brushed Cobalt Tulip Blossoms. Stands 13 3/4" tall
 
Excellent Condition. A 3/8" chip on the right side of the spout.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
