    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "F. H. Cowden, Harrisburg." 

     

    This is the mark of John Wallace Cowden who ran the company with this stamp from 1880-1888 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 55-58)

     

    This beauty features the Cream Pot Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Stenciled Snowflake in Cobalt Blue.  Measures 10" tall and 9" wide across the top. 

     

    Excellent Condition.  A 1/2" ping/chip on the right handle, two adjacent 1/2" chips on the base edge, and a dime-sized stain on the back. No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
