Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Pair:  A Mini Jug and a Mini Jar made by the Beaumont Pottery of York, Maine.
 
It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his cross on the bottom of the jug and the cross and the date 1984 on the bottom of the jar.   In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America.  His work from York, Maine was some of his finest.  
 
The little jug features the Pottery Stamp and Brushed Cobalt Decoration to include a Sunflower on the Front, Leaves on Each Side and Around the Base of the Handle, and Stripes Down the Handle.  The brightest of cobalt!  Stands only 3 3/4" tall.   
 
The little jar features a Sunflower within a Garland, also in the Brightest of Cobalt.  Stands 2 3/4" tall. 
 
Exceptional Condition.  Both pieces are as made.  No damage of  any kind.
