Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Stoneware Pitcher made and stamped on the shoulder by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine" and scratched on the bottom with a cross, the initials JB, and the date 1984.

This is the work of Jerry Beaumont, a contemporary master potter.  In my experience, his work ranks supreme among the contemporary potters and is escalating in value.

This beauty features a 19th Century Form with Squared Rim, Pinched Spout, Tall Neck, and Bulbous Base.  Comma vining hangs from the rim on both sides, and a flying heart enhances the front.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
