Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Tabletop Churn made and stamped by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine."

It is the work of Jerry Beaumont from the 1980's.  In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  His work from York, Maine was some of his finest.

This beauty features a Small Tabletop Churn Form, Pottery Stamp, and a Gorgeous Floral Bouquet in the Norton, Bennington Style.  The floral is executed in brilliant cobalt using a slip cup. Stands 12 1/4" tall.

Comes from an extensive Massachusetts collection whose owner had personal ties to both the potter.  She gave me the privilege of buying this and many other Beaumont items (including the sign from the York, Maine pottery).

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of  any kind.
