Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jar made and stamped by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine."  
 
It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his cross and his initials "JB" on the bottom.  In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  His work from York, Maine was some of his finest.  
 
This beauty features a Larger 2 Gallon Size, the Pottery Stamp, and a Large Rabbit Sitting in the Grass.  Additional leaf accent at the front handle terminal.  The cobalt could not be any brighter or sunglasses will be required.  Measures 10 3/4" tall and 9" wide across the top.   
 
Comes from an extensive Massachusetts collection whose owner had personal ties to both the potter and the artist.  She gave me the privilege of buying this and many other Beaumont items.
