Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made for "Edwards Fountain Syrup, The Wm.  Edwards Co., Cleveland."  
 
This jug was made and stamped on the back bottom by the "Sherwood Bros. Pottery, New Brighton, PA." 
 
Circa 1900 during the soda fountain craze, this beauty features a Blue Stripe around the Spout, Company Advertising on the Shoulder, and Two Blue Stripes on the Bottom.  Stands 11 1/2" tall. 
 
Very Good Condition.  A 2" line on the back center as shown.  That's it!  No spout or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
