Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Little Stoneware Jug made for "Horrocks & Sons, Botanical Brewers, Turner Street, Newport 1919."  The shoulder reads, "This jar is the property of Horrocks & Sons.  Anyone illegally using or selling the same will be prosecuted." 
 
The screw stopper is from another jug and reads, "Spardel Mineral Water, Manchester." 
 
This beauty features a Two-Toned Glazed and the Stenciled Advertising. Small 1/2 gallon size.  Stands 9".  
 
Very Good Condition.  A fine horizontal hairline through the handle as shown. Otherwise, as made.
