Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 7 1/8" Pumpkin Seed Flask from the early 19th century.

This beauty is so named because its shape resembles a pumpkin seed.  The shape comes from creating an ovoid jug and then flattening out the middle.

This flask has an unusual Ochre Slip Glaze giving it a Honey Brown Color.  The drips from the top give it much character too!

Excellent Condition.  Three pinhead-size nibbles on top  of the spout and three on the bottom edge along with a 1/4" flake.  That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
