Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this very nice 1 Gallon Molasse/Syrup Jug made and stamped by "E. W. Farrington, Elmira , N.Y."
 
This is the mark of E. Ward Farrington who ran the family's pottery under this stamp from 1887-1893 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 75).
 
This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp on a Rich Chocolate Brown Albany Slip Glaze.  Stands 8" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor surface wear and minor nibble on the handle and bottom edge.  That's it! No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
