Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Unusual 2 Gallon Jug made for the merchant, "Daniel Quinn, Utica, N.Y."
Quinn had this jug made by the Whites Pottery of Utica, N.Y. around 1890.
This beauty features a most Unusual Form with Bulbous Body and Elongated Neck, and Bold 1" Block Lettering in Rich Cobalt that Strongly Contrasts with the Light Cream Glaze. Stands 14 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/2" surface ping line on the back of the spout. That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Some glaze skips on the right side shoulder in the making.
