Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this superb 9 1/2" Tanware Pitcher from New Geneva, Pennsylvania.  

 

During the 1880's, the pottery at New Geneva hosted picnics on their grounds and made these pitchers as souvenirs.  

 

This beauty features a Classic Form with Flared Rim, Pinched Spout, Tall Neck, Tooled Shoulder, Bulbous Base, Applied Handle, and Lots of Decoration.  Three stripes frame the spout, shoulder, and base.  Three columns of dashes decorate the spout, and a vine with two fuchsia flows across the body.  Stands 9 1/2" tall. 

 

Excellent Condition. Two minor 1/8" glaze flakes on the inside of the rim. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
