Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug with Stylized Cornucopia.
Circa 1875 and most likely from New York, this beauty features a Tall and Slip Form and a Stylized Cornucopia executed with a Slip Cup. A simple swirl, dots, and leaves made the complex cornucopia decoration economical until such decoration was no longer made at all. Stands 14" tall.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind. A few scratches in the clay, including in decoration, in the making.
