  • Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Cuspidor Spittoon.

Circa 1870, this beauty is hand-turned in light clay with 5 downward cobalt comma decorations.  Measures 4" tall and 8" wide across the bottom.

Excellent condition.  An 1/8" flake inside the top drain opening and a 3/4" on the underside on the back.  That's it!  No top edge chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.

Very clean example.  Typically these were trampled underfoot and broken in use.
