Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Butter or Cake Crock from Eastern Pennsylvania.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Squared Rim with Groove below for Ease of Tying a Cover Over the Top, Applied Grooved Handles with Cobalt Accent, and Three Units of Comma Vining on Each Side. The cobalt is dark and shiny. Measures 5 1/4" tall, 9 3/4" outside top diameter, and 8 1/2" inside diameter.
Very Good Condition. Large chip under 2/3rds of one handle as shown. Otherwise, as made.
