Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this fantastic 3 Gallon Jug with Folk Art Bird on a Branch attributed to R. O'Connell of Albany, New York.  
 
Circa 1860, this beauty features a Folk Art Bird on a Branch Decoration.  The bird has a dotted and striped breast and striped wing.  He is poised on a striped and dotted stump.  Exceptionally rich cobalt.  Stands 15 1/2" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" flake on top of the spout.  Otherwise, as made!  Some very fine bubbles in the thicker part of the cobalt in the making.
