Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 1/2" Stovepipe Wax Sealer Canning Jar.
 
Circa 1870 and hailing from Southwestern Pennsylvania, this beauty features the Cylindrical Stovepipe Form with the Grooved Rim for the Wax Sealant, and Four Straight BOLD Brushed Cobalt Stripes on the Front.  Light gray glaze and dark cobalt stripes make for a strong contrast. 
 
Excellent Condition. Two minor nibbles and a 1/4" chip inside the rim.  That's it!  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
