Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this handsome 2 Gallon Stoneware Preserve Jar with Folky Decoration.  
 
Circa 1870 and likely from New York, this beauty features a Flower with a Leaf, Bud, and Blossom-- all with Dotted Centers and in Dark and Rich Cobalt.  Stands 11 1/2" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A chip and ping behind the right handle (closeup) and some staining near the bottom. No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Some cobalt loss at the base of the bid and a stone ping below the decoration in the making.
