Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Decorated Ovoid Stoneware Jar made in Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form with Double Brushed Cobalt Florals on the Front and a Single Such Floral on the Back. Additional cobalt accents at the handle terminals.  The cobalt is strong and shiny!  Stands 12 1/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition. A narrow 1" chip inside the rim, and a flat 1/4" flake on top of the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
