Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made for "S. Stansberg, Importer and Wholesale Liquor Dealer, S. W. Cor. Pratt & Sharp Sts., Baltimore, MD."
On the bottom in the back it bears the stamp "Sherwood Bros. Pottery, New Brighton, PA."
Circa 1900-1920, this beauty features a Stenciled Bordered Label in 5 Lines of Advertising. All the lettering is crisp and clear. Stands 11 1/2" tall.
