Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made in Baltimore, Maryland.
 
Dating around 1850, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Finely Tooled Rim, Applied Handles with Cobalt Accent, and a Garland of Freehand Vining Around the Shoulder with Two Dangling Tulips on Each Side.  Stands 9 1/2" tall. 
 
Good Condition.  A 5" hairline from the rim (closeup), a 3/4" chip near the bottom on one side, and a narrow 1 1/2" chip at the base.  No rim chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A salt drip on one side in the making.
