Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoenware Bowl.
Circa 1840 and attributed to New York, this beauty features a Tall Rim, Tooled Shoulder, Rounded Sides, Applied Handles, and a Brushed Bright Cobalt Tulip Decoration. The tulip has four leaves and a blossom with four petals. The light gray glaze and dark tulip present a pleasing contrast. Measures 6 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top.
Very Good Condition. Ten small chips on the outside of the rim (1/8" to 3/8"). No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
