Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Wax Sealer made for the merchant "Charles Klein, Fancy & Staple Groceries, Fresh Meats & c., 745 Cor. S th. & Market Sts., Wheeling, W. VA." 
 
Circa 1880 and made in southwestern Pennsylvania, this beauty features the Wax Sealer Form and Six Lines of Detailed Advertising.  Stands 7 3/4" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A half dozen small chips inside the rim (1/4" or less) and a 2 1/2" vertical hairline to the left of the stencil that wraps under 2 1/2" (closeup). No outer rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
