Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon Inkwell in the Form of a Bust on a Pedestal.
Dating to the mid 19th century, this beauty features a Cobalt Pedestal and a Bust of a Women in a Bonnet with Floral Decorations around the Front. Her mouth provides the opening for dipping the pen and the hole in her head serves for refilling. Stands 4 1/2" tall.
Very Good Condition. A flat 3/16" chip on her bottom lip, a 1/4" filled in chip on the front left corner of the center band of the pedestal, and a minor 1/8" chip on the bottom at the edge. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
