Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Jar made for "Bovox, Makes Real Strength."   Bovox was a concentrated Beef Broth that was considered a health food at the turn of the last century.
 
This piece was made by the Whites Pottery of Utica, New York between 1890 and 1907 when they made their skillful molded stoneware. This piece is featured in Christopher Bensch, The Blue and the Gray: Oneida County Stoneware, p. 42.
 
This beauty features the Company Logo Embossed Around the Top with Cobalt Accent, a Greek Key Border in the Middle, and a Checkerboard Pattern on the Lower Half.  Stands 3 3/4" tall.
