Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this tremendous Blue and White Stoneware Pitcher and Bowl.

The pattern is unusual, being primarily the Bowknot Pattern, but rather than an stenciled decoration it has an Embossed Fancy Shield Decoration.

Dating around 1900 t0 1920, this beauty features a Pitcher with Large Spout, Four Panels, Embossed Bowknot on the Shoulder and an Fancy Shield on Each Side, and a Tall and Straight Footer.  The bowl is also 4 panels and repeats the embossed bowknot four times around the top edge.  Diffused blue coloration.  The pitcher is 11" tall and the bowl is 16" wide.

Excellent Condition.  The pitcher has a narrow 1 1/2" sliver chip on the bottom of one side (closeup).  Otherwise as made.  The bowl is also as made, with an internal glaze run in the making.
