Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Salt Crock in the Eagle Pattern.
 
This beauty features a Rope and Tassel Top and Bottom Border that Frames "Salt" Embossed on the Front and Flanked by a Pair of Eagles in Flight Carrying a Shield with Stripes and Stars-- all on an Orange Peel Background. The lid repeats the rope and tassel border on the orange peel background. Measures 5 3/4" tall to the top of the hanger, and 6" wide across the base.

Excellent Condition.  The base has a single 1/8" nibble on the back of the hanger and a 1/4" on the back bottom where it touches the wall.  A 1 1/2" surface drying/firing line from the rim inside in the making.  The lid has a very faint 2" hairline from the edge not seen on top (closeup). Otherwise, both pieces are as made.
