Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Canning Jar made for the "Los Angeles Olive Growers Association, Los Angeles, California."


As the lid indicates, it was made by the Weir Pottery of Monmouth, Illinois. It reads, "The Weir, Pat. Mar 1st '92, April 16th 1901." The Weir Company was in operation from 1899 to 1905.


This beauty features the Company Name and Address Surrounding a Branch Dripping with Olives.  Measures 8 1/2" tall to the top of the lid.


Excellent Condition.  Wear on the top of the lid where the bail seals the jar.  That's it!
