Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Stoneware 1/2 Gallon Pitcher made and stamped on the shoulder by the "Beaumont Pottery, York, Maine" and scratched on the bottom with a cross and the date 1987.

This is the work of Jerry Beaumont, a contemporary master potter.  In my experience, his work ranks supreme among the contemporary potters and is escalating in value.

This beauty features the Pottery Stamp on the Shoulder, and a Small House Surrounded by a Fence and Flanked by Trees.  Incredible detail and artistry executed with a slip cup.  Strong and shiny cobalt too!  Very intriguing Folk Art.  Stands 8 1/2" tall or a 1/2 gallon.

Very Good Condition.  A flat 1/2" chip where the spout meets the rim on each side.  Otherwise as made.
