Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Small Jar with House and Fence.

It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his cross signature and the date of 1985 on the bottom.  In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  His work from York, Maine was some of his finest--like this one dated during that period.

This beauty features a Very Carefully Tooled Rim and Ringed Shoulder, and a Little House Surrounded by a Picket Fence.  All the decoration is detailed and drawn with a slip cup in bright cobalt.  Stands 5 1/4" tall.

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of  any kind.
