Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Little 6 1/4" Jar made and stamped by "J. Beaumont, Portsmouth, N.H."  Jerry Beaumont is a fine contemporary potter whose work is marked from a variety of states.  This is the only one I recall from New Hampshire.
 
Circa 1980, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Shape with Wide Rim, Applied Handles, Pottery Stamp, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  The clay contained small deposits of iron that have melted in the kilt to give the glaze a pleasing speckled appearance. Stands 6 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/8" nibble inside the rim.  Otherwise as made.
