Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made and stamped by the "Beaumont Pottery, Portsmouth, N.H."  
 
It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his cross, his initials, and the date 1978 on the bottom.   In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.  
 
This beauty features the Classic 19th Century Cream Pot Form with Flared Rim and Bulbous Body, Pottery Stamp, and a Brushed Cobalt Double Tulip Decoration in Bold Cobalt.  Two tulip blossoms, each with 6 petals and 3 dots in the center arise from a cluster of 11 leaves.  Bright and shiny cobalt!    Stands 9 1/8" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.
