Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jar made and stamped by the "Ballard Vale Stoneware Mfg. Co." 
 
This company resided in Ballard Vale, Massachusetts around the 1870's. 
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Delicate Flowering Plant Created with a Slip Cup.   Stands 13" tall.
 
Good Condition. Even wear and small chips around the lid-seating ring and inside the rim, a 1/2" chip on top of the rim with a 1" hairline below, and waterglass staining inside and some outside. No outer rim or base chips, cracks, or restoration.
