Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 3 Gallon Salt Glaze Barrel-Shaped Water Cooler made and stamped by "Edmands & Hooper, Stoneware Ware Manufacturers, Charlestown, Mass." 
 
Edward and Thomas Edmands ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).  I can find no reference to "Hooper" as a business partner. 
 
This beauty features the pottery stamp and a Barrel Form with Four Incised Bands with Cobalt Fill, and a Fancy Spigot Opening.  Stands 12" tall. 
 
Fair to Good Condition.  A glued hairline from the rim that comes down to the third blue stripe and then follows it to the center of the right side.  No other damage.  A chip on the rim in the back and a 1" drying line at the bottom of the spigot hole--both in the making.
