Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made for "Aug. Baetzhold, Michigan St., Buffalo, N.Y." 
 
It was made and stamped by "J. Fisher, Lyons, N.Y." who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1872-1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74).  
 
Dating around 1880, this beauty features the Pottery Stamp and Two Lines of Freehand Cobalt Script Advertising.  Stands 13 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  A 1 3/4" chip on the front at the bottom and some wear around the middle.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, staiins, or restoration.
