Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made and stamped by "A. O. Whittemore, Havana, N.Y."
 
This is the work of A. O. Whittemore who potted in Havana from 1862-1893 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 72).
 
This beauty features a Strong Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Bright Cobalt Floral Decoration Executed with a Slip Cup.  Measures 9" by 9 1/2" wide across the top.    
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Some bubbles in the bottom leaves in the making.
