Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this desireable and uncommon 6" Stovepipe Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.
Circa 1880, this beauty features the Stovepipe Form, Small Size, Grooved Rim for the Wax Sealant, and an Urn of Flowers. The decoration is executed in a dark and shiny cobalt and really stands out on the light gray glaze. Stands 6" tall.
Excellent Condition. A couple 1/8" nibbles inside the rim, a 3/8" chip on the rim, and a professionally filled chip on the back bottom edge (closeup). No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
