Item 11829

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks are these 3 Blue and White Spongeware Pitchers for 1 Money.

These are contemporary dating from around 1975-1985.  As I have, you have probably seen them sold as early 20th century, but they are not.

The shortest one is a studio piece signed "CB 86" by the handle.  It sports the Cats Paw Pattern.  Stands 5 7/8" tall.  Mint condition.

The middle one bears Sponging Incorporating Little Flower Blossoms.  On the bottom it reads, "Compliments of T. Perkinson Co., Hardware and Goods, Warwick, VA."   Stands 7" tall.  Mint Condition.  The glaze crazing is in the making to give it an old appearance.

The tallest one bears Four Bands of Controlled Sponging.  It also reads on the bottom,  "Compliments of T. Perkinson Co., Hardware and Goods, Warwick, VA."   Stands 8 1/2" tall.  Mint Condition.  The glaze crazing is in the making to give it an old appearance.  Drying lines inside at the bottom in the making.

As a trio, they make an impressive display.
