Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 1 Gallon Jug whose decoration indicates that it was made by Edmands of Charlestown, Massachusetts. 
 
Edward and Thomas Edmands who ran the pottery in Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1852-1868 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 49).
 
This beauty features a Fancy Little Floral in the Looped Manner of Edmands.  The decoration is executed with a slip cup and resembles a butterfly.  Stands 11" tall
 
Very Good Condition.  Two minor 1/8" nibbles on the spout, two contiguous chips at the base (3/8", 5/8"), and some staining on the back at the base.  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
