Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Stoneware Churn made and stamped by "Wm. Rowley, Middlebury, O."
 
William Rowley potted in Ohio in the 1850s (Robert Treichler, A History of Northeast Ohio Stoneware, p. 54). 
 
This beauty features a Semi-Squared Rim, Inscribed Shoulder, Applied Handles, Freehand Capacity Number, and Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  The blossom rests on a curved stem with six curved leaves. Stands 16 1/2" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Some small, scattered stains.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. Exceptionally clean
