Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jug made for "The Schwartz & Klein Co., Distillers & Wholesalers, 401 E. Federal St. Cor. Basini St., Youngstown, Ohio."
 
On its heel it bears the stamp of the pottery of the Sherwood Bros. of New Brighton, Pennsylvania that made it.
 
Dating around 1900-1920, this beauty features 4 Lines of Crisp Stenciled Advertising in a Rectangular Frame. Stand 8 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. A 5/8" chip on the underside at the edge in the back. That's it! No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A narrow 1/4" glaze skip on the handle in the making.
