Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Unusual 3 Gallon Snuff Jar made by "Jas. Benjamin, Stoneware Depot, Cincinnati, O."
 
Dating around 1880, this beauty features a Tall and Large Snuff Jar Form with the Capacity Number and Company Advertising Stenciled Below.   Stands 14 1/4" tall.
 
Good Condition.  A minor 1/8" nibble inside the rim, a flat 1/4" flake on top of the rim, a1" chip at the base, and some rust stains from use.  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
