Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Tiny 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made by "Hamilton and Jones, Greensboro, PA."

 

This is the work of Frank Hamilton and John Jones who worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania from 1865 to 1897 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157).

 

Circa 1880, this beauty features a Small Size and the Company Advertising in an Arch Surrounding a Rising Sun Decoration.  Dark Cobalt.  Measures 6 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" wide across the top.  

 

A very small size for this maker. 

 

Very Good Condition.  Wear and soem 1/4" knife marks inside the rim, two 1/2" chip on the bottom edge, and overall staining from use.  No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
