Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar from West Virginia.  The decoration indicates that it may have come from Jane Lew, but I will let the local collectors tell me if I am right or wrong. 
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Flared Rim with Cobalt Stripe and a Freehand Sideways Tulip Decoration underscored by 2 Stripes. Stands 10 1/2" tall.  
 
Very Good Condition.  A 1"  chip on the rim on the right side.  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
