Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southeastern Ohio.
 
Circa 1880, this jar features the Grooved Rim into which to Pour Hot Wax to Seal a Tin Lid on Top, Molded Handle (unusual for a canner), and Two Brushed Cobalt Flower Blossoms.  Stands 10 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition. Two narrow 1/2" chips inside the rim and a 3/8" chip outside the rim.   That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
