Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Merchant Script Jug made for "S. Rosenstein, 597 Orange St., Newark, N.J."  An uncommon name in Newark script jugs. 
 
Circa 1900 and likely made by the Pfaltzgraff Pottery of York, Pennsylvania, this beauty features Four Lines of Dark Cobalt Fancy Script Advertising that Covers the Front.  Stands 10 3/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Two pinhead-size nibbles on the spout.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Exceptionally clean example.
