Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Yellow Ware Miniature Wash Basin.
It was part of a miniature pitcher and bowl made in Bennington, Vermont between 1850 and 1880. See this piece in the picture above from Lisa McAllister, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I!, p. 13.
This beauty features a Graceful Double Rolled Rim and a Small Footer. Measures 1/2" tall and 3" wide.
Very Good Condition. A half-dozen pinprick-size nibbles on the underside of the rim. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
