Coming to you from Doc's Crocks 2 Pieces of Stoneware for 1 Money made by "T. F. Reppert, Greensboro, PA."
Thomas Reppert worked in Greensboro, Pennsylvania solo from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).
One piece is an 8" Jar with the Company Advertising Surrounding a Double Flower and Framed by Small Flowers in the Corners. It has a crack from the rim down to the top of the stencil on the left (closeup 1). Otherwise, as made.
The other piece is a 1 Gallon Butter crock with the Company Advertising Surrounding a Sheaf of Wheat. It measures 6 3/4" tall and 8" wide across the top. It has an amateur restoration for a y-shaped crack across the bottom and up to the top of the back side and along the base on the left side. Lots of repaint. Shelf piece.
